Investment VS Expense

Updated: Jul 23, 2020

What are you doing to invest in yourself right now?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Many new/small business owners see business expenses as just that - an expense. But I’m going to challenge you to do

something today....

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Grab a piece of paper or open the notes app on your phone and write down some goals you have for your business. Perhaps your goals are something you can achieve in the next year or so, or maybe they’re a bit more long term, but just focus on making them clear and tangible.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then I want you to sit back and look at your list. Ask yourself how you plan on reaching that goal. Do you have to take a course to learn a new skill? Do you have to hire an employee to help ease some of your own work load? Is it time to network with some like-minded people who can help guide you in the right direction? Are you in need of a new tool or product to help enhance your company’s reach?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now, I know that it can be so hard to add an extra expense to your plate. But now that you have your goals and know how to achieve them, you can look at this “expense” as an INVESTMENT. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Invest in your business. Invest in your skills. Invest in yourself. ⠀
